By using our website or requesting services from GET IN, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

Services

We provide fully mobile automotive locksmith services across Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire, including:

• Vehicle lockouts

• Spare keys and replacements

• Key programming and diagnostics

• All keys lost solutions

• Key repairs

• Ignition Repair

• Broken key extraction

All services are subject to availability and location.

Proof of Ownership

By requesting our services, you confirm that you are the legal owner, registered keeper, or authorised user of the vehicle.

We may require valid ID and proof of ownership before work begins. We reserve the right to refuse service if this cannot be provided.

Customer Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate vehicle details

• Ensuring the vehicle is safely accessible

• Informing us of any known faults or modifications

We are not responsible for delays or issues caused by incorrect or incomplete information.

Vehicle Entry & Condition

We always aim to use non-destructive entry methods wherever possible.

However, due to vehicle design or condition:

• Minor marks may occasionally be unavoidable

• Some vehicles may require alternative methods

We are not liable for issues relating to:

• Pre-existing damage or wear

• Corrosion or water ingress

• Aftermarket systems or previous repairs

Programming & Diagnostics

Modern vehicles rely on electronic systems which may be affected by faults.

We are not responsible for programming failures caused by:

• Weak or faulty batteries

• Damaged wiring or modules

• Previous incorrect programming

• Aftermarket immobilisers or modifications

Pricing & Payments

• Payment is due upon completion unless agreed otherwise in writing

• We accept cash, card, or bank transfer

• Receipts/invoices are available on request

A call-out fee may apply once a technician has been dispatched.

Additional charges may apply if further labour, parts, or diagnostics are required.

​​Pricing Notice

Prices quoted are estimates and may vary depending on vehicle condition, parts required, and complexity of the job. Final cost will be confirmed on-site where possible.

All goods supplied remain the property of GET IN Automotive Locksmith until paid in full.

Appointments & Cancellations

We require as much notice as possible for cancellations.

A call-out fee may be charged if:

• Cancellation occurs after dispatch

• Less than 24 hours’ notice is given

• The customer is not present at the agreed time

Warranty

• Keys, remotes, and fobs include a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects

• Mechanical work includes a 90-day workmanship warranty

Warranty does not cover:

• Physical damage or misuse

• Water damage

• Battery depletion

• Unauthorised repairs

No warranty is provided for:

• Customer-supplied parts

• Work affected by pre-existing vehicle faults

Important Information

• Some vehicles may require additional time or specialist procedures

• Not all vehicles support all programming methods

• Success cannot be guaranteed where faults exist

We are not responsible for:

• Towing or recovery costs

• Losses due to vehicle downtime

• Delays caused by issues outside our control

Lost or Stolen Keys

It is the customer’s responsibility to notify their insurer or relevant authorities regarding lost or stolen keys.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses

• Liability is limited to the value of the service provided

This does not affect your statutory rights.

 

Data Protection

All customer and vehicle data is handled securely and in line with UK data protection laws.

We do not share your information with third parties unless required by law.

Website Use

All website content, including text, branding, and images, is the property of GET IN Automotive Locksmith and may not be used without permission.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
